GENERAL TERMS OF PARTICIPATION
Eligibility :
In order to submit, you must :
1. Have an mx3 page
2. Have an original track, for which you own the copyright, that you submit to make a clip for, that lasts for a maximum of 4 minutes, and for which no official clip has previously been made.
3. Be in a position, in case of victory, to provide a professional recording of your track, in the following format: wav / 48khz / 24 bits
4. Be a Swiss citizen or reside in Switzerland.
5. Be capable of sustaining a one hour set.
6. Not have already won the previous edition.
Process :
Selected artist will be chosen on application file only. 4 to 10 projects will be chosen by the committee, announced on the 13th September. Artists will then have a few days to provide a motivation letter and extra documentation to defend their project.
Selected artist will be publicly announced the 20th September 2022.
Music video will be premiered at les Hivernales Festival in Nyon, March 2023. Please submit a song which release date is strategically coherent with the music video diffusion date.
If you win :
1. The total value of the production is apprx 30'000 chf, none of which will be provided in cash, but rather invested in producing the clip.
2. The artist commits to make every personal and logistical effort to facilitate and help in the making of the clip, during filming as during preparations.
3. The artist must be able to travel to the Lausanne area, for the preparation and the finalisation of the clip, regardless of place of residence.
4. If the artist cannot provide a professional recording of the submitted track, the artist automatically renounces the prize.
5. Participation in the Hivernales is up to the festival's discretion.
6. The Hivernales has a 500CHF fee for the artist, non negotiable.
Lets develop the project, from start to finish :
7. The candidate and the filmmaker must develop a music video concept which is agreeable to both parties. This is not a commercial order. The filmmaker reserves the right to refuse to film certain images or statements which would go against her personal sensitivities, values or tastes.
8. The clip will be credited according to "Picture My Music" modalities. The artist cannot oppose the presence of partner logos in the credits.
9. "Picture My Music" retains exclusive rights on the diffusion of the clip on the internet and remains owner of the film rights as the producer.
10. The film will be considered the official music video for the submitted track and will be diffused according to those terms.
11. The candidate unreservedly accepts the general terms of participation set by Mei Fa Tan.

2. Avoir un titre original, dont tu possèdes tous les droits d’auteur, que tu soumets pour en réaliser le clip, d’une durée maximale de 4 minutes, et qui ne fait l’objet d’aucun clip officiel précédemment réalisé.
3. Être en mesure, en cas de victoire, de fournir un enregistrement professionnel de ton morceau, au format suivant : wav / 48khz / 24 bits
4. Être de nationalité Suisse ou résider sur le territoire Suisse.
5. Être capable d’assurer un set de 1 heure.
6. Un candidat ne peut pas se présenter s’il a déjà remporté l'édition précédente.
Déroulement :
L'artiste est sélectionné sur dossier uniquement. 10 projets seront retenus par le comité, annoncés le 13 septembre. Il auront quelques jours pour fournir une lettre de motivation afin de défendre leur projet.
L'artiste sélectionné sera annoncé publiquement le 20 septembre 2022.
Le clip sera présenté en avant-première lors du festival Les Hivernales en mars 2023. Merci de soumettre un titre avec un agenda de diffusion stratégiquement cohérent avec la date de sortie du clip.
Si tu gagnes :
1. La valeur totale du clip est d'environ 30'000 CHF. Aucun avoir ne sera versé en liquide mais investi dans la production du clip.
2. L’artiste s’engage à mettre en œuvre tous ses moyens humains et logistiques afin de faciliter et d’aider à la réalisation du clip, tant sur le tournage qu’en préparation.
3. L’artiste doit être en mesure de se déplacer aux environs de Lausanne pour la préparation et la finalisation du clip, ce, indépendamment de son lieu de résidence.
4. Si l’artiste ne peut pas fournir un enregistrement professionnel de son morceau, il renonce à son prix.
5. La participation aux Hivernales ne dépend que de la décision du festival.
6. Les Hivernales offrent un cachet de 500CHF, non négociable.
Développons le projet, de la préparation au résultat final :
7. Le candidat et la réalisatrice doivent trouver un concept de clip qui convient aux deux parties. Il ne s’agit pas d’une commande. La réalisatrice se réserve le droit de refuser de tourner certaines images ou propos qui iraient à l’encontre de sa morale, de ses valeurs ou de ses goûts.
8. Le clip sera crédité selon les modalités de "Picture My Music", l’artiste ne peut pas s’opposer à la présence des logos partenaires au générique.
9. Il est confié à "Picture My Music" l’exclusivité de la diffusion du clip via internet et la gestion des droits de production audiovisuelle.
10. Le clip sera considéré comme clip officiel du morceau et sera diffusé en ces termes.
11. Le candidat se soumet aux conditions générales de vente de Mei Fa Tan.
